The Jagannath Temple Puri , built in 1161 CE by King Anantavarman Chodaganga, stands as India's most mystical Hindu shrine where Lord Jagannath (Vishnu's avatar), Balabhadra(Balaram), and Subhadra reside in unique wooden forms with incomplete bodies—representing the universe's formless divine essence.
This 12th century architectural marvel spans 400,000 square feet with the sacred Patita Pavana flag atop its 214 feet Neelachakra spire, visible from 20 kilometers away.
Unlike other temples, the deities here are ceremonially replaced in the secret Nabakalebara ritual every 12 to15 years, making this Char Dham pilgrimage site spiritually unparalleled.
Special rituals and aarti are performed during these times, attracting numerous devotees seeking blessings.
Jagannath Temple hosts several significant festivals celebrated with great devotion. The ideal time is throughout the year. October to March when the weather is pleasant, perfect for pilgrimage and sightseeing.

Namah Karo is a modern and reliable online platform for offering puja at Tarakeswar Temple. If you want to avoid the hassle of pandas, then this service is ideal for you. While visiting a temple and offering puja, in many cases, you have to bargain for dakshina or puja items. Namah Karo clearly mentions the various puja packages. There are no hidden costs. This is very convenient for those who come from far away or are accompanied by elderly people.
Recently I done pooja Namah Karo, it was very easy to contact and do the pooja at Taraphit temple, I am very grateful for their help with doing pooja. It was very quick and communication with them is seamless.
The online pooja booking service with Namah Karo Team was very easy, smooth, and pleasant. Mr. Subhankar Bhanja communicated clearly and also guided me through the process in a very friendly manner. Also, they did not charge any hidden costs. Awesome experience! Jai Maa Kaali! Jai Jai Tara . 🌺 🙏
Using this website Namah Karo is very convenient. You can choose the date and time and set an approximate budget in advance. An admin contacts me beforehand to provide the details and coordinate with the priest at the temple. The priest then gets in touch with us before our visit to confirm the appointment time, and it is best to arrive a little early. Everything happens very smoothly and quickly, without having to wait in long queues for hours. The service fee is minimal, but it allows for a fast and comfortable darshan. Before you know it, everything is completed, and you receive prasad to take home. Joy Maa 🌺✨
The experience with NAMAH KARO team was very devotional. The temple visit was smooth and the process of booking is easy. I would recommend people coming to Temples having rush to book your visit through them. Also, regarding the booking amount, no advance payment is taken. That's good.
